Example Usage/Configuration Scenarios
- Medical Centre – must first play an Intercept message including ‘If this is an emergency, hang up and dial 000’ before Reception phones ring. The volume of calls in busy times and ensuring the voicemails are not able to be left, means a basic Hunt/Call Group is insufficient, so a Call Queue in place better manages calls and keeps callers in queue until answered. And at night, a suitable message plays automatically after closing, again, ensuring that no Voicemails can be left.
- Hotel Group – has a single Phone# to manage all calls for multiple Hotels. Callers reach an Auto-Attendant in which they choose the relevant option based on seeking Reservations or Maintenance, and for which Hotel. At night, calls are automatically routed to the relevant A/Hrs number.
- Roaming/WFH Staff – for Staff who aren’t tied to a single desk or a desk at all, but still need to take or make calls from the Business Phone#. The use of a Mobile Softphone allows just that! Staff can use the business Phone System from anywhere in the world, as if they were sitting in the Office.
